My Reaction to the Spring Statement

Today, Chancellor Philip Hammond presented his Spring Statement to Parliament. See my reaction below.

As we’ve come to expect from this Chancellor, there was very little in the way of help for Liverpool or our public services across the country in general. And no mention at all of the impact that Brexit is likely to have.

At a time when our NHS is in crisis, school budgets are being cut, councils’ budgets are over-stretched and there’s not enough money to care for our elderly, this simply isn’t good enough.
